Download free trial Check pricingThe most powerful way is "Screen Recording". Start recording, perform the process you want to document, and XDOKU will capture each step, generate screenshots, and write descriptive texts for you using AI. It's the fastest and most automatic method.
Besides recording, you can create guides by importing:
- Video: Upload an MP4/WEBM and AI converts it into a step-by-step guide.
- URL: Paste a link to a web page and XDOKU extracts its content.
- Documents: Import existing manuals in Word format (.docx).
Click on any step image to open the Image Editor. You will find shapes (rectangles, circles), arrows, sequential numbering, free text, and much more to annotate your captures with total precision.
Yes. The editor includes Blur and Pixelation tools. In addition, XDOKU features "Auto Blur" which can find and hide the same text in the rest of the guide's images automatically.
The Knowledge Base is a public or private web portal generated automatically from the guides you publish. It centralizes all your knowledge with a professional design, search engine, and categories. It is the information source used by the AI Assistant.
No, never. The AI Assistant answers using only and exclusively the information from the guides published in your Knowledge Base. Your data is private, it is never used to train external models, nor is it mixed with internet information.
From Settings > Knowledge Base you can change the title, upload your logo and favicon, and select a primary color to match your brand image. Changes are reflected instantly.
In Settings > AI Assistant you will find:
- Embedded Widget: A line of code for a floating button.
- Direct Link: Unique URL for buttons, menus, or emails.
- Popup Window: Code to open the assistant in a popup.
Yes. Settings > AI Assistant > Queries gives you a complete log of all questions, indicating if the AI was able to resolve them. This allows you to create new guides to fill information gaps and reduce the support load.
Export creates a local file (PDF, Word, HTML, Video, or GIF). Publicar envía el contenido a una plataforma online: tu Knowledge Base, Confluence, SharePoint o WordPress.
- PDF for formal and non-editable documents.
- Word (.docx) when you need the receiver to be able to edit.
- Video (.mp4) / GIF for visual tutorials on networks, chats or web.
Yes. XDOKU uploads each image to the platform's media library and links them correctly, without you having to upload anything manually.
Not automatically, but it's very simple. Republish and the application will detect the existing page, asking if you want to overwrite its content. The page will be updated while maintaining the same link.
Everything is processed and saved 100% locally. XDOKU is a desktop app designed with privacy as a pillar. Your data is not sent to any external server unless you decide to use a cloud feature (Knowledge Base, Google Drive). When you record your screen, your screenshots are sent to Google to be processed with AI.
Not for core functions. XDOKU works offline. Connection is only required for:
- Logging in and validating your license.
- AI functions (text generation, translation).
- Publishing to external platforms or KB.
- Syncing with Google Drive.
Yes. XDOKU is developed in Spain under European regulations. Data is processed in the EU and our cloud servers (for KB and sync) are hosted in the EU. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
